IEEMA works closely with government agencies, utilities, standardisation bodies, research & development organisations and testing institutes for formulating Indian standards for the electrotechnical industry and developing energy efficient products.IEEMA, the first ISO certified Industry Association in India, has complete value chain in power generation, transmission and distribution. Its membership base, ranging from public sector enterprises, multinational companies to small, medium and large companies, gives IEEMA a truly national representative character.
IEEMA is the natural voice of Indian electrical industry and plays a crucial policy advocacy role with the government and its agencies. The product divisions and technical expertise helps in responding to the government on an ongoing basis.IEEMA has initiated a number of programmes which are aimed at building capabilities of its members to improve quality, productivity and efficiency standards by sharing and dissemination of information on latest processes.
IEEMA is proactively engaged in the stakeholders’ consultations being undertaken by the Planning Commission for the 12th Five Year Plan. IEEMA, on behalf of industry, makes suggestions to Ministry of Finance and Central Board of Excise & Customs, Government of India, on the government’s fiscal & taxation policies and procedures, as part of pre-budget consultations between Industry and the Government.
Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association of India [TAGMA-INDIA] is an all India association of the Tooling Industry, established in the year 1990 with Registered Office in Bangalore, Secretariat in Mumbai and Chapters in Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida, Pune and membership of 665 companies.
TAGMA serves as a forum for the Indian Tool Room & Die and Mould Industry whose activity involves design, sales or manufacture of dies for pressing, stamping, punching and forming; injection and compression moulds; die casting dies; patterns and pattern equipment; jigs and fixtures; standard tooling components; CAD/CAM; rapid prototyping; gauges; precision machining; special machines and related products.
