DEENDAYAL ANTYODAYA YOJANA-NATIONAL URBAN LIVELIHOODS MISSION
(DAY-NULM)

To reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in an appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots level institutions of the poor. The mission would aim at providing shelters equipped with essential services to the urban homeless in a phased manner. In addition, the mission would also address livelihood concerns of the urban street vendors by facilitating access to suitable spaces, institutional credit, social security and skills to the urban street vendors for accessing emerging market opportunities.

FACILITY AVAILABLE UNDER THE SCHEME OF IDEMI, MUMBAI :

All training is free, excellent and experienced trainer, modern technical knowledge, modern machinery, software, lots of demonstrations and practice, entrepreneurial quality training.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION :

1. The trainee should be a resident in the state of Maharashtra.
2. The trainee should be the poorest beneficiary in economic, social, caste wise.
3. The age should be 18 to 35.

QUALIFICATION :

10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, Degree

1. Leaving certificate
2. Marksheet (8th, 10th, 12th, Diploma and Graduation)
3. Caste certificate
4. Passport size photo

In our endeavour to discourage child labour and contribute towards eradication of child labour IDEMI will provide free vocational training for rescued adolescent labour in consultation with Ministry of Labour & Employment and Labour Department of Maharashtra state.
