Introduction :

IDEMI Extension Centre at Bengaluru was established in the year 2018 under the Hub & spoke model of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India with purpose of enhancing the competitiveness of the MSME Units in the area and provide support service to entrepreneurs and MSMEs from the initial stages of product concept to prototyping, low volume production and incubation for a period of 2 years.

The main objective of Extension Centre is to focus on improving access to technology, providing skill up-gradation and offering advocacy support to the MSMEs with high growth potential. The long-term vision is to ensure competitiveness of the MSMEs in the eco-system by strengthening their linkages to the main stream ESDM manufacturing sector in the region.

Extension Centre acts as a skill development training centre for short term as well as long term National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned courses. This EC is envisaged to cater skill development training to the students of Schools, Engineering colleges, ITIs of Bengaluru. Apart from this, Extension Centre would also support skilled and unskilled workers of the catchment area through fresh skilling and up-skilling courses to attain a better state of sustainable enhanced livelihood.

Training :

Currently, providing trainings in the AVCG sector with various Animation, Graphics & Web design courses. In the upcoming year, Extension Centre is planning to start courses in the field of Automation & Embedded Technology, Mechatronics & CAD/CAM/CAE.

Apart from these courses, in collaboration with Samsung India Pvt Ltd, IDEMI Extension Centre is already running courses to work or establish your own business in the sunrise industries of Electronics field from 2018.
